it’s the 8th edition of the hotly awaited Clarens Craft Beer Festival. This year, 22 breweries from seven of our nine provinces will be showcasing their beers, plus there will be cider from two cideries (is that a word?)

If you haven’t already booked accommodation, I suggest you do it yesterday. Or plan to stay in nearby Bethlehem. I’m sure there will be someone with a stable you can sleep in…

Friday tickets are R135, Saturday R145 or you can get a weekend pass for R215. There are special rates for non-drinkers. Kids under 13 go free and there is a dedicated kids area with a minder (entrance to that is R60).
