Hey you, beer fanatic – want this sexy poster on your wall?

Are you one of those list-maker beer nerds who keeps notebooks of the beers they’ve tried, has competitions with friends to see who has sampled the most different brews, and loves to check things off ‘must-try’ lists? If so, I have just the thing for you. Follygraph, producers of gorgeous infographic prints, have compiled a poster of ‘120 Beers You Have to Try’, featuring classic style examples, bucket-list brews, rare beers and, you’ll be pleased to know, a fair few that are easily obtained in South Africa (hint: you will need to plan a day trip to Den Anker). It’s a limited edition poster – just 1000 were printed, each one numbered and signed by the artist.

The A2 posters retail on Follygraph’s site for $29 (R375) – and then you have to get them shipped here – but I have a very limited amount of posters available for R200 each (excluding shipping if you’re outside Cape Town). Each of the 120 beers you’re challenged to track down and taste comes with info like suggested glassware, ABV, and which beer style it falls into.The poster also comes with a handy guide to beer styles – as if you dear beer geek, need it. What you do need though, is the A4 checklist so you can tick off each time you try one of the beers.
