Beer Safari is out! And to celebrate the launch of my new book, I’ll be joining Beerhouse for two Meet the
Brewer Author events – on in Johannesburg on December 2nd and the other in Cape Town on December 7th.
Each evening will feature five of my ‘Big Five Pints’ – the beers that I highlight in the book as being some of the best in South Africa (there are more than five of them in the book, but I liked the name). The beers will be expertly paired with a canape by Beerhouse chef Roy MacAskill and introduced by me!
Not only do you get great food, fantastic beer, reams of hilariously witty banter* (* – In the event that you do not find the banter witty or hilarious, neither Beerhouse nor The Brewmistress will be held responsible), you also have the chance to buy signed copies of Beer Safari for the knock down price of R220 – a whopping R55 less than you’ll find it for in stores!!
What’s more, some of the beers are tough-to-find brews that you might well have never tasted before. Here’s the beer menu:
Brauhaus am Damm Weizen
That Brewing Co. APA
Mtunzini Chilli Beer
Dog and Fig Stewige Stout
Devil’s Peak King’s blockhouse IPA
All of this, plus competitions, prizes and loads of beer talk for the bargain price of R175. Spaces are limited so what are you wating for? Stop reading this blog and get over to Quicket to book your seats.
But please don’t stop reading the blog – there’s lots of good stuff on here. And as beer season is well and truly upon us, there is LOADS more to follow this week…
