The Great Wort Challenge

We have an awesome meeting planned to kick off 2018. Greg will be brewing during the day and we encourage you to bring along your carboy or fermenter to take home a small batch of the wort. Plato Yeast will be on hand to make sure you can turn said wort into beer and there will be hops for sale from BeerGuevara so that you can dry-hop at home.
The main idea of this is to bring new brewers into the fold, so bring along your friend, share this event far and wide. And you there – SY lurker member who occasionally brews but ever comes to meetings – this one is for you!
The challenge is really an introduction to fermenting. Greg (well, Rochelle actually) will do all the hard work and you get to do the fun bit!
You then bring three bottles of the beer back (the rest is yours to share and enjoy!) and we will judge them – winner announced at Southyeasters Summer Fest.
