Originally an American initiative, Blacktoberfest makes its South African debut in Soweto this October. The event aims to empower black brewers and township entrepreneurs. Expect live music, DJs, beer tastings and food pairings. Participating breweries include First 15, Ukhamba, Tolokazi, Amasiko and Tautona.
