12 days of Beermas

Play #12DaysofBeermas and you too could be as happy as this. Hopefully with slightly less manic, scary eyes…

For those who don’t know me well, let me tell you that I just loooooove Christmas. You might also be vaguely aware that I’m rather fond of beer. So, this year I bring you (drum roll…..) The 12 Days of Beermas!

I’ve teamed up with a host of brewers, bars and brewing suppliers who have been extremely generous in donating some awesome prizes. There are tastings and lunches, brewery tours and pints, merchandise and courses – and a couple of pretty special surprises as well.

Each day from December 2nd there will be a different prize – sometimes two! – up for grabs. There are prizes in Cape Town, prizes in Jo’burg, prizes in Durban and prizes that will even be delivered to your door.

Just keep an eye on the blog, make sure you’re following on Twitter and while you’re at it, pop over to the Facebook page as well. Good luck and Merry Beermas!

I am a true beer geek because OG, FG, SRM, ABV and IBU are questions that I ask brewers , my wife can tell the difference between an Irish Red and a Flanders Red, and she has tasted examples of both. I actively try to drink every beer I can get my hands on, I try to teach others how to brew, I try to show people the wonders of beer, my wife occasionally asks me to not talk about beer, I brew my own beer, I am aging beer, I have examples of Guezes in my collection, I talk about beer too much. ^_^

I’m a true beer geek because I try to get all my friends and acquaintances into brewing their own.

I’m a true beer geek because I’m not afraid to show my almost childlike passion for craft beer, instead of behaving like a supposed adult. I love craft beer, and I’m not scared to show it and share my excitement with everyone!
