What I love most about beer is… well beer really. I love the refreshing hit of a lager or a pilsner on a hot day, the comfort of a good stout or porter when it gets cooler. The spice of a saison, the awesome balance of a pale ale the the delicious bite of an IPA. I love the fact that for every occasion or time of year there is a beer to celebrate with. I love the fact that beer snobs are way cooler than wine snobs! I love the fact that we can now experience high quality, locally made brews as well as the imported ones. As I said to begin with, I just love beer!
I love beer, especially craft beer, because it’s well thought through ideas, recipes, stories that connects everyone that loves it. It’s a community of people drinking this special thing called beer.

Hope I AM a blog subscriber: think so! But not sure if I have been one for long enough… really enjoy it, though! Beer, then, is:
More than a haiku
Better than any poem
Like a secret recipe
Water, malt, hops, yeast
Can conjure myriad brews
With names like Wild Beast.
More than just a beer
Craft really raises the bar
Makes lager, porter, IPA
Amber, blonde and weiss
Never a flat moment for
Followers of this vice.
I’m a whisky lovers first and foremost, but whisky comes a distant second to beer on a hot summer’s day. Nothing quenches that thirst, nothing goes better with a spicy prego steak, than an ice cold beer!
Beer, because no good story ever started with a glass of milk. But besides that, beer is so rewarding and refreshing when its hot, comforting and pleasing when its cool, and hearty and warm for the soul when its cold. And the beauty of it is every style of beer has its place. The sadness felt when finishing a beer is quickly replaced with happiness as this is when a new beer can opened. Beer, because everyone needs a hobby!
I love beer because the mouth of any truelly happy human being is filled with beer, so teach a man to brew beer so he doesn’t have to only be happy for a day, but for a lifetime!
I love beer because it has been around longer than any other fermented drink. It allows for infinite creativity as well as analytical precision. It is something you can enjoy with friends as well as alone. It is easy and yet difficult to produce. There is a beer for everyone, and for every occasion. That is why I love beer

What I love most about beer is the way it brings people together and the fact that you can instantly bond with others over a fantastic brew as well as how supportive and open the craft brewing industry is in South Africa.
What I love most about bear is that it is so easy to make, yet this simplicity can take a lifetime to truly master. The same is true of appreciating beer.
